Hello friends. Via this post I will be sharing my experiences of my trip to the beautiful state of Goa. So gear up to be part of the joy ride. I love to travel with my family so I planned a trip to Goa along with my wife and lovely kids. We all were quite excited for the holiday. I prefer luxurious travels so I was looking for air tickets for various airlines that offer direct flights from Kolkata to Goa. The internet booking is a very convenient and time saving alternative for making flight bookings from the comfort of your home or office.

I booked our air tickets on the IndiGo airways as I had already travelled on the flights of this brand a couple of times and had a really comfortable experience.  So I booked our air tickets via IndiGo Airlines online booking facility. We boarded the flight from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose airport in Kolkata and reached the Dabolim Airport in Goa. The travel was quite entertaining and both my kids were quite happy and eager to reach the destination.

There are as many as 19 weekly flights that connect Kolkata to Goa. So you have got ample of options to choose from. The first of the Kolkata Goa flights takes off at 8:10 am and you can catch the last flight that operates between these destinations at 9:30 am. For online flight booking you should be aware of the airport codes of Kolkata airport and the Goa airport. CCU is the airport code for Kolkata and that for the Goa airport is GOI.

Apart from IndiGo airlines other budget airlines also operate between the two prominent destinations so you can choose the flight timings and brand according to your convenience. We had quite an awesome time on – board. It is always good to spend some quality time with family. I had already booked the O hotel in Goa via online hotel booking. I like to plan everything in advance to avoid last minute haste. Finally we reached the Dabolim airport in Goa in a matter of few hours where a cab was waiting for us to take us to our hotel.

My Air Travel Journey from Kolkata to Jammu and Kashmir- Seamless and Memorable

The word travelling injects special energy in my body. I have grown old but my heart is always excited to do new things. I am blessed with two lovely little kids and a sweetheart in the form of my wife. After a long time, I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with my family members away from the busy schedule of my business.

They were more than overjoyed when they got to know that we would be making a 7 day trip to one of the most beautiful destinations of the world i.e. Jammu and Kashmir. We booked flights belonging to Indigo Airlines as it is presently the no.1 airline company in India. Since there was no direct flight between Kolkata and Jammu and Kashmir, we had to book tickets on two flights. The first one was from Kolkata to New Delhi and the second one from New Delhi to Jammu.

Our flight was scheduled to leave Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport, Kolkata at around 7 am in the morning. So we had to get up very early and rush to the airport in a hurry via a cab. Since it was the month of April, the sky was clear and we reached New Delhi in just two hours. Our next flight to Jammu was in the afternoon and so we had to wait for some time at the Indira Gandhi Airport.

I didn’t let that time go as a waste and explored t he entire airport along with my kids. The flights arranged by Indigo Airlines were seriously very comfortable and we had a smooth journey. They also arranged for some additional facilities for the two little kids and they were very happy. I am also indebted to the app for flight which enabled me to plan everything right at my home. We reached Satwari station at around 3.25pm and had a private cab waiting outside to take us directly to the hotel booked.

In spite of my busy work schedule, I make it a point to travel and have some adventure from time to time. There is no fun in just living a monotonous life with only work and no tours. I take some slight breaks and detours from the work life to have some memorable time. However,looking at every detail is not the way I plan a trip, I believe that planning should be limited to flights and hotels. I preferred Indigo to other flights because of its on-time flights and trouble free experience. I reached the airport by four. The flight was scheduled for departure at 6:15 pm. With the amazing services of Indigo flights, the air travel was a delight. As soon as I stepped in the plane, the crew welcomed with a smile on their face. It took some time for the plane to get off it wheels but as soon as it started, I was excited just by thinking of the new land I am going to visit. The city of oranges was calling me. During the flight trip, all I could think about was what I am going to do after I reach there. With only two hours of flight, there was not much to decide. I reached there by eight in the night.

After the air travel from Kolkata to Nagpur by Indigo Airlines, I reached my hotel. Radisson Blu hotel was my lodging place. I was shown my room with my luggage and the hotel staff guided me for places to go. I took some rest to boost myself up for the next day journey and take a sight of the land.

This time, we planned to visit the beautiful place of Hyderabad – the city of smiles and thousand lights. I booked complete hyderabad package to start my journey. Our air travel from Kolkata to Hyderabad was scheduled to take off from Kolkata Airport at around 6:55 am and we were to reach Hyderabad at 9:30 am. That was a short and comfortable trip. We started packing our bags. I made sure to keep my camera with me as I am a fond of photography. My wife had additional responsibility to take care of kid’s packing as well, and I must say, nobody can beat her in that task (not even me). She took all the medicines and other necessities and we were all set to have a blast. We reached at the airport on time, and after all the formalities…occupied our accommodations in the plane that was in the business class.

Vacations are a great time to come closer to the family and have pleasurable and rejuvenating time with them. Being a businessman, I don’t get enough time that I could devote to my family. I sometimes feel that I am lacking the golden opportunity of cherishing those small but precious moments with my family that one remembers all through their life. I miss my children’s day –to-day events and school programs when I am gone out for business purpose. But then, this business and work is also important. It may sound a familiar story to many of us. I try to fulfill these lacunae by spending a nice family trip with my wife and children that make our bond stronger and get to know each other more closely. The trip is also educational to the children, it is learning with experience. I’ve gone to such trips a number of times and have always found them ravishing.

The Indigo airlines landed on the grounds of Hyderabad airport. Hyderabad is delectably called as the Pearl City. This city is blessed with numerous tourists’ attractions that includes resorts and gardens, Heritage monuments, lakes, parks, museums and of course, the endearing cuisines. Hyderabad offers a magnificent panorama of the past that is rightly mixed with its rich cultural and historic tradition of 400 colorful years.

Air Travel from Kolkata to Lucknow by Indigo Airlines – An Exciting Trip with Family

I kept asking them to hurry up. What is it with trips that make me so excited that even at 45 I feel the enthusiasm of a 12-year old? I kept wondering but by that time we were all packed to go for our annual family vacation to Bareilly. I like to delegate work- Aparajita, my wife of 36 years now was in charge of securing the locks of our apartment behind us while I had already asked Rahul, my elder one to take a count of the luggage pieces. Shilpa however was exempt from all duties for she was my charming little daughter of 10 years, who was asked to enjoy the trip with me, her father – Debanjan Basu, while we made our way to the Kolkata Airport to avail our air travel from Kolkata to Lucknow by Indigo Airlines.

The Indigo Flight 6E-339 to Lucknow was scheduled to take off at 11:40 and we were well in time; all thanks to me for if the kids were not pushed around to get ready, we would have surely been delayed in reaching the airport. The flight was a catch at 6,835 INR, for the cheaper plane ticket had saved up some bucks in the trip. We went through the standard procedure of checking in and since the flight was on time soon we were seated in the lounge waiting for our flight to be announced.

The boarding began and I caught the little finger of my doll, Shilpa to proceed with Aparajita and Rahul to stand in the queue. It does help to be systematic, the newly made airport was a visual treat but I was impressed with the superb services of the ground personnel of the Indigo Flights which offered a smooth and commendable service all through. With my experience of travelling in and around West Bengal, the chaos of the travel sector has been a headache in some or the other way. But it was not like this during the Air Travel from Kolkata to Lucknow by Indigo Airlines. We had prior reservations at Hotel Clarks Inn, Bareilly.
