National Institute of Technology, Patna – An Educational Supremo of the Country
The fifth day of my Patna trip was dedicated to some educational knowledge. I wanted to discover the educational institutions of the state and as I was there in Patna, this was the best time for me. I was traveling with my kids and my elder son is expecting his results for the mid-term of 10th standard. He has keen interest in engineering and since I was in Patna, National Institute of technology is the pioneer in providing flawless education to engineers. In order to get an admission in such a prestigious college, one needs to lay the foundation from the very start itself. Therefore, I insisted my elder son to come along with me to learn more about the National Institute of Technology.
The Bihar College of Engineering Patna was later remodeled into National Institute of Technology or NIT. The NIT Patna marked its benign beginning in the year 1886, and is known as the sixth oldest engineering institute of India. As the institute is situated in the holy river banks of Ganga behind the Gandhi Ghat, it creates a different ambience for studying and learning. It is one of the spectacular buildings of the city and the delight of natural beauty can be seen from the architecture of the same.
The institute provides education by world-class teachers through scientific technology and interactive learning mechanisms. The four-year degree course is provided to the students in engineering, which covers engineering in different branches like Computer Science, Information Technology, Civil, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Plastics, Electronics, Applied Instrumentation and so on. The college also produces large number of well qualifies engineering graduates every year with almost a hundred per cent placement. Since National Institute of Technology has a brand value, the placement offers are many in the college, that too from the top-notch companies. Collaborative projects and internship programs are provided in the final year of engineering to create a sense of professionalism in the students.
My son liked the entire tour and I was happy. We came back thanking the educational guide in the institution that made the trip successful and informative.
